The Art of Procrastination: A Masterclass in Last-Minute Achievement
Hey Meeple People! I hope everyone is well. In my previous blog post I mentioned how I was in the final stages of my undergraduate degree. At the time of writing that post I was taking procrastination to a true grandmaster level! I had a couple of assignments that really needed my full attention to finish on time, and because I am the way I am, I had left it all until the very last minute. Despite my indiscretions, I’m happy to say that I eventually managed to pull my finger out and get everything done and submitted on time, which meant that I finally had the excuse to actually relax while I waited for my results. It was such a good feeling!
Experience and Education High-Five
When 'Dad' became 'Dazzling'
Another reason I am unashamedly proud is my desire to set a strong example for my children. Ultimately, everything I do is for them in some form or another… It was a heartwarming experience when both of them expressed their pride in me upon my completion of my degree, and I cannot wait to take them to my graduation ceremony where they can witness their dad donning a goofy gown and funny hat to collect his award. I’m looking forward to walking onto the graduation stage and catching sight of their smiling faces in the audience. All the stress and hard work of the past few years will be entirely justified in that singular, unforgettable moment! And, hopefully, there will come a day when the roles are reversed, and I will proudly sit in the audience during their own graduation ceremonies. I cannot wait!
Take care.
